Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to cash in on club-record signing Paul Pogba in order to buy two Real Madrid stars in the next transfer window.
The Portuguese has seemingly lost patience with the Frenchman and is ready to use him as bait in a £200 million (R3.3 billion) transfer blitz, according to the Mirror.
Mourinho wants to bring Toni Kroos and Raphael Varane from the Santiago Bernabeu to Old Trafford and is prepared to use Pogba as a means to achieve those deals.

Varane, who was given his first-team debut at Los Blancos by Mourinho in 2013, is reportedly valued at £70 million (R1.16 billion) by Madrid, while Kroos’ worth is suggested to be at around £100 million (R1.65 billion).

The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner could replace Pogba at United and Mourinho believes he could run the Red Devils midfield.

It remains to be seen whether the two clubs could line up a massive swap deal involving the trio or whether it could be separate cash deals. However, even though Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is an admirer of his countryman Pogba, the Los Blancos boss would reportedly prefer David De Gea.

Mourinho’s ‘Plan B’ is believed to be based around Paris Saint-Germain duo Marquinhos and Marco Verratti, in case he isn’t able to get Kroos or Varane.
Juventus left-back Alex Sandro is reportedly also high up on the United boss’ wish list to improve the left-back position, where Luke Shaw has failed to live up to expectations.
