French press speculate that Stoke are watching 25-year-old Strasbourg striker Stephane
Stephane Bahoken has started to come to wider attention this season as he helps Strasbourg look to stay in Ligue 1.
The 25-year-old striker's performances and six league goals look set to keep the team out of the drop zone following back-to-back promotions.

They might have been out of the top flight for nine years but they have managed to bloody the noses of Paris St Germain, ending the champions-elect's 25-game unbeaten run in December. And last month he was called up for the first time to play for Cameroon, who his father Paul had represented more than 80 times.

But his contract is set to end in June and now the French media is suggesting his status has come to the attention of Udinese and clubs in England and Wales, specifically Stoke City,Aston Villa and Swansea.
France Football write this afternoon: "Bahoken is coveted by Udinese but is also in contact with several Premier League clubs. Having recently become a Cameroon international, the striker is coming to the end of his contrat in June, which is sure to attract attention in view of his season."
Bahoken came through the ranks at Nice and had a spell on loan at St Mirren before dropping into Championnat National to join Strasbourg.
"I accepted a drop to the third tier because it was Strasbourg, a club that counts in French football," he told So Foot recently.

It was the right place for me to progress, play and score. I did two seasons in National, I played, I scored. The same thing in our year in Ligue 2, marked by our promotion to Ligue 1. I do not regret my choice."
