The Liverpool forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu after a stunning season for the Reds.
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, who are renowned for their outlandish transfer claims, former Reds playmaker Philippe Coutinho has discovered that Salah has given  chief Florentino Perez the green light.
It  is suggested Coutinho has spread the news among his team-mates at Barcelona.
Lionel Messi is reportedly furious that Salah is joining Real Madrid because he wanted him at the Nou Camp.
Salah has scored 40 goals in 45 appearances since joining Liverpool from Roma for a bargain fee of around £38million last summer.
Despite the stunning claim from Don BalonExpress Sport understands that Real Madrid have cooled their interest.

Express Sport revealed earlier this month that Barcelona have also turned their attention away from Salah and are prioritising a move for Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.
It is under contract at Anfield until the summer of 2022 and club chiefs are expected to offer improved terms to convince him to stick around.

boss Jurgen Klopp is confident that Salah will not be leaving the club after one season

Yeah, of course," he said.
"It’s all about the question. It’s not a situation I would even think about it. Around nine months ago he came in to make the next step in his career – and he did it.
To come to Liverpool, he had different options and he wanted to come here. If we now always start talking after a year and is it: ‘will he leave?’ or whatever then I don’t think about.

"It was in the German interview and he asked me pretty much the same question. Yes, I’m confident. I don’t think, I know he will be here. That’s all.
"It’s only because people always have something to write, to talk about and all the stuff. On the other side, we don’t want to change all the time – ‘now settled here, now go there in completely new surroundings.’
"We have a big chance here to create something for the future. In the moment we have to deliver performances, collecting points, winning. The age group of the team is really good.
"We are still young and full of potential and all that stuff. My impression at the moment is that they are all excited about being in this group."
