BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has supposedly been criticised by Andre Gomes in secret talks with Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona star Gomes is team-mates with both Messi and Ronaldo at club and international level respectively.
Earlier in the season, claims emerged saying Gomes was blasting Messi behind the BarcelonaNo 10’s back.
However, the Portugal star denied that by saying: “I have not said anything against Messi nor the manager, Valverde.
"It's all been invented. I have too much respect for Valverde and for Leo to say something like that."
Yet Spanish outlet Diario Gol say this is not the case.
They say Gomes feels Messi does not support him at Barcelona and is behind his Nou Camp struggles.
It is claimed he has communicated his feelings to Ronaldo, a player he holds in high regard.
And he supposedly thinks Ronaldo is the more professional of the two players.
Meanwhile, speaking in March, Gomes gave an emotional interview where he expressed his sadness with Barcelona life.
Maybe it's not the best word but (life at Barca) has become a bit of a hell, because I started to feel the pressure," Gomes told Panenka magazine.
"The feeling that I have during games is bad.
“Thinking too much hurts me, because I think about the bad things.
“Although my teammates support me a lot, things don't go for me how they want them to go.
