Ray Wilkins says Man Utd star Romelu Lukaku is at the right club after snubbing Chelsea
That’s according to pundit Ray Wilkins.
Belgium international Lukaku snubbed Chelsea in the summer in favour of a move to Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has hit the ground running after joining from Everton, netting 10 goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
Lukaku currently leads the race for the Premier League Golden Boot, with Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Morata just behind.
And Wilkins says Lukaku was right to snub Chelsea for United, adding the striker and Tottenham’s Kane are at the right clubs.
“If I look at Lukaku, if he had Harry’s two feet, because his right side isn’t as good as his left side,” Wilkins told Sky Sports.
“You can’t really distinguish which is best with Harry Kane.
“He’s that clean with both feet that it’s almost embarrassing the way he strikes a ball.
Ithink the two of them at the moment have found their clubs, they’re at the right club.
“Harry’s always going to be a Spur I’m sure.
“I know there’s been massive money spoken about this morning but I’m sure he’s always going to be a Spur.
Ithink Lukaku now has found his right club. I think at Manchester United he can only flourish.”
Kane has been linked with a move to United and Real Madrid in recent weeks with the England international having another fine season for Tottenham.
