FC Barcelona have only made two signings in the transfer window so far, but the Catalan giants are now targeting a Senegal international, who competed at the 2018 World Cup.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Senegalese full-back Moussa Wague has emerged as a target for the Catalan giants.
The 19-year-old caught the eye of many during the Lions of Teranga’s group stage campaign in Russia last month.
The same report claims that Barca are now looking to push Sergi Roberto into his preferred midfield role, and they see Wague as someone who can challenge Nelson Semedo for the right-back spot.
Barca general manager Pep Segura and sporting director Eric Abidal are believed to be working on a deal for the defender.
Wague made 28 appearances across all competitions for Belgian outfit Eupen last season.
