The reigning UEFA Champions League holders are said to be looking at several players, and have earmarked two Premier League stars to replace two of their own.
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Los Blancos are keeping a close eye on Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah and Germany winger Leroy Sane.
The pair were winners at last weekend’s PFA awards, with the former Chelsea star being named as the Player of the Year and the Citizens winger being picked as the Young Player of the Year.
Salah has caught the eye of many this season with his phenomenal goalscoring form, while Sane played a crucial role in Pep Guardiola’s Citizens gallop to the English top flight title.
It has been suggested that Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema could be the two players who lose their places at the Santiago Bernabeu next season, although these rumours have been strongly denied by coach Zinedine Zidane.
The idea of having Sane and Salah on either wing, with Cristiano Ronaldo through the middle, is certainly something that could excite Real’s board.
