A certain Real Madrid starlet has hinted at where he believes his future lies, amid conflicting rumours about where he will be playing next season.
Spain international Marco Asensio has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea in recent months as his game time at Los Blancos has lessened with the club’s inconsistent performances.
However, the 22-year-old recently spoke about his move to the Spanish giants and touched on what his future goals at the club are, making it clear he has no desire to leave.
“I always try with everything I have left,” Asensio said in a Nike promotional video, according to The Sun.
“To reach the biggest club in the world where there are millions of fans and a lot of pressure was a brutal change. My debut was in a final. I was not nervous, I scored a goal and I won my first title.
“In all my debuts I’ve always been able to score goals and I have come to Madrid to stay and score many goals.”
Asensio has made 37 appearances for Los Blancos so far this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting five further strikes.
