Neymar completed the most sensational transfer ever during the
summer, joining Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona for
222million euros.
So far, the Brazilian has been living up with the expectations at
Parc des Princes, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.
On the other hand, his absence at Camp Nou isn’t being felt at
all, with Ernesto Valverde’s side having registered 10 wins in 11
league matches.
However, Luis Suarez is aware of the talent his side lost when
the Brazilian decided to join the Ligue 1 giants.

In an interview for the Spanisht outlet SPORT, the Uruguayan
striker revealed what was said during a conversation he had with
Neymar and Lionel Messi after the Brazilian told them he wanted
to move.
When asked whether Neymar asked himself or Messi for advice,
Suarez replied: “More than advice, [Messi and I] tried to do what
would benefit the team. But we never said ‘Don’t go because you
won’t be happy.’
“We said we didn’t want him to go, but that he was free to do
what he wanted. Because of the friendship we have, it was
painful that he left.”
Suarez added: “I tried to convince him to stay because I think
here’s the best place for him, but it’s a decision he had to
take.
