Edinson Cavani and Neymar’s antics over a free-kick and penalty
during PSG’s 2-0 win over Lyon last week grabbed the attention
of everyone.
The 198million pounds summer arrival Neymar was keen to take
penalties for his new side, but Cavani had other ideas.
However, of course, this isn’t the first time two footballers argue
over a penalty or a free-kick during a match.
In fact, the same thing happened between Cristiano Ronaldo and
Sergio Ramos in 2013.
A video was uploaded on Youtube by Football HD TV and is from
Real Madrid’s clash with Sevilla four years ago.
Los Blancos were leading 7-3 in the 93’rd minute, when Ronaldo
wanted to score his fourth personal goal of the match from a
free-kick.
Cristiano
Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos argued over a
free-kick
But the Spanish defender Ramos was trying also to score a goal
himself.

Other defender Alvaro Arbeloa advices the four time Ballon d’Or
winner to let Ramos take it, but he just wasn’t planning on giving
up.
Then Ramos reportedly said: “If I shoot, it’s a goal,” still Ronaldo

wasn’t having any of it.
But Arbeloa intervened again and finally convinces the Portugal
international to let Ramos hit it.
