New boss Unai Emery has been quick to secure new players ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, and his primary focus was seemingly to shore up his defence, having signed two experienced defenders, as well as a new goalkeeper.

The former Lorientmidfielder has a mature head on his shoulders, and is always looking to receive the ball and go forward. The player has already displayed his superb vision and passing range in an Arsenal shirt, when the Gunners took on Paris Saint-Germain in a pre-season friendly this past weekend.
