Alvaro Morata has dropped a major hint that he will stay at Chelsea this summer and look to revive his career at the Premier League club.
After a difficult debut season in the Premier League, Morata has been strongly linked with a departure during the summer transfer window.
Joining Chelsea from Real Madrid last summer, the Spanish striker scored eight goals in his first nine games for the Blues, including a hat-trick against Stoke City.
But the goals quickly dried up for Morata and he registered just one Premier League goal in 2018, losing his place in Chelsea’s starting XI to Olivier Giroud.
A dire run of form saw Morata, 25, left out of Spain’s squad for the World Cup in Russia.

But despite his struggles at Chelsea, Morata has suggested that he will be staying at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer in an Instagram post.

Very excited to start again,’ Morata wrote with a picture of him wearing a Chelsea shirt.

The past was hard but that is only one more reason to begin fighting again.’
Antonio Conte is still Chelsea’s manager but it appears only a matter of time before he is replaced by the former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri’s arrival in west London will spark Chelsea into action in the transfer market and they are expected to sign Russian World Cup star Aleksandr Golovin.
