Nigeria have announced their final 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup, and a Chelsea player has been left out by Gernot Rohr.

Rohr trimmed the squad to 25 before the England match on Saturday evening, leaving him with the decision to cut two more players.
The Absa Premiership will only have one representative at the tournament after Chippa United’s Daniel Akpeyi was named in the 23-man squad.

Chelsea full-back Ola Aina, who was on loan at Hull City, and Bursaspor’s Mikel Agu were the two players dropped from the final squad.
