The Blues are in talks to sign Aleksandr Golovin, who has impressed at the World Cup for Russia.




Discussions have begun with CSKA Moscow for Golovin, 22, who is also wanted by Juventus.
However, The Telegraph say Chelsea are at the front of the queue and want to complete the move once Russia’s World Cup runs over.
CSKA value Golovin, who has also been linked with Arsenal, at around £27million. He would immediately be part of the first-team squad and not be sent out on loan.
And the move could be funded by the sale of Danny Drinkwater.





Chelsea won’t consider bids for Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Ross Barkley but do want to sell the ex-Leicester man, who they value at more than £30million.
Drinkwater joined Chelsea last year but started just 12 Premier League games after signing. He made a further seven appearances off the bench.
