CRISTIANO RONALDO needed ‘hours of practice’ to become the superstar that he is today.

That’s according to his former Manchester Unitedteam mate Gary Neville.
Ronaldo has gone on to become arguably the greatest player on the planet since joining Manchester United at the age of 17.
Now at Real Madrid, Ronaldo seems to be getting better and better.
Neville has laid down the same challenge to Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling.
Though claims Ronaldo only improved because of his hard work and dedication.
"I can speak first-hand about Ronaldo and the hours of repetition in practising to kick a ball,” Neville said on Monday Night Football.

“Ronaldo, when he first came to United, was not a free-kick taker. He was not a corner taker. The accuracy of his kicking was not very good.
"Raheem Sterling is not a very good kicker of a ball. Could he take a corner? It is a simple thing.
Could he put a corner onto the six-yard box whipped in every single time? The answer is no
Ronaldo couldn't do it at the age of 18 or 19 either. It was hours of practice day after day.”
Ronaldo has scored over 650 career goals while winning the Ballon d’Or five times.
Sterling was part of the Manchester City team that secured the Premier League title this weekend.
The Champions League has eluded City over recent years, whereas Ronaldo has regularly tasted success.

Having won the competition for the past two seasons, Real Madrid face Bayern Munich across two legs for a place in this year’s final.
