With Lionel Messi in the side, Barcelona have an excellent chance of winning the Champions League this season.
The Argentinian scored his 100th goal in the competition as Barcelona reached the quarter-final with a 3-0 win over Chelsea on Wednesday.
Messi scored twice and Ousmane Dembele got the other – his first goal for the Blaugrana – as Ernesto Valverde’s side secured a 4-1 aggregate victory.
The plaudits came reigning in on Messi, who emphasised just why so many are ready to call him the finest player in history.

“I think when you have the opportunity to make a great compliment to Messi, I think it’s right,” Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said.
“It’s right to praise a super, super, super top player. A player who is able to score 60 goals in every season. Not only for one season.
“I’m very pleased to have the opportunity at the end of the game to give him my compliments because we are talking about an extraordinary player, the best in the world.”

It was an excellent night for Dembele, too.
The Frenchman hasn’t had an easy ride since joining Barcelona; it was recently reported that Barcelona are upset with his dietary habits and penchant for enjoying the Spanish nightlife.
But, if footage from last night’s match is anything to go by, Messi has made it his mission to help Dembele out.

El Chiringuito have captured footage of Messi continuously giving instructions to the 20-year-old. On more than one occasion, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner reminded Dembele about his positional responsibilities.
