A former Real Madrid captain has revealed that he would find it extremely difficult not to take up the opportunity to coach Los Blancos should the job be offered to him.
Jose Maria Gutierrez Hernandez, who is more famously known as Guti, is the manager of the Spanish giant’s U19 side and has widely been tipped as one of the candidates to replace Zinedine Zidane should Florentino Perez decide to sack him at the end of this season.
The Frenchman, who has seen his team struggling to find consistency in this campaign, is currently under enormous pressure leading into the UEFA Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain, but no matter the outcome Guti feels the club should stick with Zidane.

“This is the last chance for Real Madrid, but I hope there is sanity and that it isn’t Zidane’s last chance,” Guti told El Chiringuito deJugones.

“We cannot forget what he has done.
“It is also PSG’s last chance as it isn’t worth winning Ligue 1 or the French Cup.
“Zidane must continue, but how can I not want to coach Real Madrid one day?”

The 41-year-old made 538 appearances for the Madrid side in his career, scoring 77 goals and assisting in a further 59 more.
