Lionel Messi produced another world class performance on Sunday night in Barcelona’s 5-0 win against Real Betis.
The Argentine superstar scored a brace and also assisted for Luis Suarez’s strike in the second half.
The club’s all-time top scorer completed 12 dribbles alone against Real Betis, most in a single match in La Liga in the last three campaigns.
Despite turning 30, Messi is showing no signs of decline and it’s no surprise that Chelsea are considered massive underdogs for their upcoming Champions League meeting.

The veteran Betis midfielder Joaquin played the full 90 minutes and was interviewed immediately after the game.
“When you’re against Messi, who…who…*laughs*…well, we don’t know what to say [about him] any more…” said Joaquin, as per the Guardian’s Sid Lowe.
Joaquin was asked by El Pais to compare Messi and Ronaldo in 2017 – and there can’t be many who would argue with his answer.
“Messi is the best player I’ve seen,” said the 36-year-old Spaniard. “I’ve seen very good players, but this guy … I got the feeling, on the pitch when I faced him, that he has the ability to win the game whenever he wants.
“I think he says this to himself: ‘Now I will score’, and he scores. And he’s been doing it for 10 years. He’s played 70 games during the year. He also changes the game when he wants, but as a finisher.
“As a soccer player in the literal sense of the word, I prefer Messi
