New FC Barcelona signing Philippe Coutinho is in line to make his debut for the Catalan giants after being named in the squad for their must-win Copa del Rey clash against Espanyol on Thursday night.
The Brazilian officially put pen to paper on a deal with the Blaugrana just a week after the January transfer window opened.
Coutinho’s debut for Barca has been delayed due to injury, but the 25-year-old has now been named in the Spanish giants’ latest matchday squad.
The playmaker, along with another new signing in Yerry Mina, will be a part of Barca’s squad for the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final against Espanyol on Thursday night, as revealed by the club on Twitter.

Manager Ernesto Valverde’s side head into the clash 1-0 behind on aggregate.
