BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has discovered Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to explode at Real Madrid, according to shock reports in Spain.
The Portuguese is struggling after some of his closest allies left the Bernabeu in the summer.
Ronaldo used to rely on the likes of James Rodriguez, Pepe and Fabio Coentrao to have his back.
But now Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Messi is ready to take advantage of Ronaldo struggling in La Liga this season.

The 32-year-old has just two top flight goals all season, compared to his Argentine rival who has 13.

Ronaldo has one close ally in Karim Benzema but with the league looking like an uphill battle his team-mates are said to be less inclined to play for him.

The reports mention Isco in particular who disagrees with Ronaldo on many occasions.
Messi is said to have all of his Barcelona team-mates backing him, especially former Liverpoolforward Luis Suarez.
Sergio Ramos is also said to be unhappy with Ronaldo and disagrees with his 'arrogant' attitude.
Real Madrid are currently fourth in La Liga, eight points behind leaders Barcelona.
Next up for Zinedine Zidane's side is a Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
After that Real return to La Liga action at home to Sevilla who are level on points in fifth.
