Chelsea secured another impressive win on Wednesday night,
this time in the Champions League against Qarabag.
The west London club secured a place to the knockout stages of
the competition, defeating the Azerbaijan side 4-0, thanks to a
Willian brace and penalties from Eden Hazard and Cesc
Fabregas.
It was a very special evening for Hazard, as he became the
highest-scoring player from Belgium in the competition’s history.
The former Lille star had already produced a world-class
performance against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend in
the Premier League, and was at it again three days later.

It’s fair to say that the way he controlls the ball, is very difficult
for defenders to make challenges on him without conceding a
foul.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard was among those impressed by
what he saw from the Belgian.
The Blues’ all time top goalscorer is now convinced Hazard’s
“world-class”.
And here’s why.
“For me it’s if you’re effective in games at this level, Champions
League and international level, of course at home as well, but I
think when you’re affecting games regularly at this level over a
period of time,” Lampard said.
It can’t be for a small period of time, the best do it over a
period – and I think we can say at the moment that Hazard is
certainly in that bracket for me.
