FC Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has responded to reports that Neymar could make a shock return to the Catalan giants.
The Brazilian forward left Barca to join Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record fee of €222 million ahead of the 2017-2018 season.
The 25-year-old has netted 29 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions this season, providing 19 assists as well.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar has sent his former teammates and club representatives messages claiming he would like to return to the club.
“I don’t know where that has come from,” Valverde told reporters, according to FourFourTwo.
“Let’s not talk about hypothetical situations.”
Neymar has also been linked with a move to Barca’s bitter rivals Real Madrid, who would reportedly need to pay €400 million for the player.
